On the second Sunday of every month (beginning July 13th.) from 2pm to 4pm, there will be a silent meditation retreat. Simple, practical meditation techniques will be given. There will be three 20 minute periods of sitting meditation, interspersed with periods of walking meditation and readings to inspire our practice.
These retreat periods are open to beginners as well as those more seasoned practitioners who want to deepen their practice.
Periods of silent meditation are recommended for anyone who is interested in delving deeper into the inner realm of peace and freedom. Upon returning to daily life from a period of retreat one is renewed and able to face the challenges of life with compassion and appreciation.
Please wear loose fitting clothing. We have mats and meditation cushions available.
