Our suggested practice is Svadhyaya (self-study) or the study of spiritual books. Self-study as it is referenced here is more than simply reading the texts. It is the practice of reading the texts for self-examination and for personal and practical sadhana (application).
On our Yoga Reads page we have suggested the book Ways of Yoga by Gurani Anjali as this month’s read. This would be an excellent place to start, as this book is written with practice (sadhana) in mind. Any great text or scripture you may be reading currently can be read with this intention.
